Low light creeps in and lengthens shadows, nighttime open windows begin to close, the chirp of the first migrating warblers fall on discerning ears. It is that time again, football season. Sundays won't be the same until February.
Indeed we are all grateful for this turn of the season. Our hearts well rested from a summer without much professional competition, and ready to feel every level of happiness from 0 to 10, even 11 once or twice before we start over again next spring with all but 1 team at the bottom.
